Reemah was adopted from the Colchester SPCA at 4 months of age, she will be 4 in October. Who knew then the battle we would face trying to find a food that would agree with her. Since being adopted she has always been on what I believed to be a good quality kibble, everything from FROMM to Orijen. First it started out she couldn’t tolerate any type of grains she would get diarrhea. Then she couldn’t tolerate a kibble over 30% protein. After a while it came to the point she couldn’t tolerate certain protein. Not knowing how terrible the kibble made her feel, she developed somewhat of an eating disorder. The vet was little to no help, pushing vet food which I knew she wouldn’t tolerate. I did try it, because of the vet recommendation, only to discover what I already knew. She would get through two bags of food and all of a sudden would refuse to eat. I had easily tried 30 different kibble brands with her. It came to the point of mixing wet or shaving treats over her food to try and get her to eat. I was told about Totally Raw, but I have to admit I was a little hesitant as I didn’t know much about raw feeding. Once learning and talking with Karen I gave it a go. Reemah no longer has a white film on her fur, her bloat is gone, which I didn’t even realize she was bloated the best part, she loves meal time now and she has gone from pooping easily seven times a day to about two! I worry a lot because of all the issues Reemah had, but Karen was always able to answers my questions, and put my mind at ease. Trust me, Karens email was exploding with questions from me! If you are hesitant like I was at first, talk with Karen and learn about raw feeding. It was the best thing I could have ever done for Reemah:)
